Water Filters Save Money In This Economy

We’re saving as much money as we can right now because of the economy. Inflating car tires, fixing old cars instead of buying new, in other words doing as much as we possibly can to save money. Haven’t turned off the cable TV yet, but I have to tell you I’m thinking about it. It got us thinking about what would be the best filtered water filter to buy. Have you ever purchased bottled water, you know, like a case of it you would get at a grocery store or Costco? How much water are you getting? A couple of gallons at most? What is the cost $5.00 bucks, if you’re getting it at Costco. That’s still $2.50 a gallon and dozens of plastic bottles dumped in our landfills.

We choose to buy a countertop water filter. After a little research we decided on the Aquasana AQ-4000 countertop model. Consumer Digest rated “Best Buy” and at 9 cents a gallon a significant savings over plastic bottled water and a heck of a lot less expensive. And you know what else? It even tastes better. We got our through Better Water Store.com a online discount water filter store. Got free shipping too. Got it in a few days and it took I think less than 2 minutes to hook up and we were good to go!
