There is cute, and there is cutesy. The former is compelling to me as an animal lover, and the latter I can do without! Discovering this adorable Maltese jewelry was such a happy find. You see, my sister breeds the little things, and she is mad about collecting jewelry that captures their distinct personalities. Hats off to the artist who came up with this design! (My favorite part of the design is the cute little legs in front!)

Jewelry depicting dog breeds? Who would’ve thought? Well, apparently this artist thought about it a lot, because she has created work based on dozens of the most popular (and even less popular) breeds. And all signs point to the fact that she doesn’t plan on quitting anytime soon. And that’s not all! But let me surprise you, as this site definitely surprised and delighted me.

If I were artistic, I think my leaning would be towards creating artwork that depicts animals. What a joyous job that must be. Perhaps next lifetime I will be so endowed. One can always hope.
